About Yin

We grew up with jade.

From our first bangle as an infant to the pendants our grandmothers carry, we were surrounded by that luscious glow. But somehow somewhere along the ways of growing up, we grew out of jade.

So when I looked up from the rush of diamonds and pearls, I found jade, having never left, once again.

After spotting the lack of modern jade designs in the jewelry market to truly express myself creatively, I decided to set the stage for jade—by looking to my roots.

Yin Jade was created by taking Yin from my Chinese name, paying homage to a combination of my heritage and my background in fine arts.

I was inspired by the timeless elegance of traditional Chinese paintings, of which you will find crafted into each unique piece, evoking the creative expression of its wearer from past to present to future.
